LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Being a good leader is about more than knowing what to do.

I help leaders understand themselves, develop their thinking and build the skills to lead people well.

Leadership doesn't come with a manual. But you can use existing models and theories to develop a leadership approach that feels natural to you.

A sign this might be for your leaders

Leaders are ‘doing’ rather than leading their people

⚪ Reactive management is more common than proactive leadership

⚪ There’s a tension between getting results and positive relationships

⚪ Difficult conversations are being avoided, delayed or handled inconsistently

⚪ Different approaches are creating inconsistency rather than flexibility

⚪ You’re growing, and the historic approach is no longer enough

⚪ There’s more leadership potential than you’re tapping into

⚪ You want personal style to have a positive impact

Limitless Leadership

Limitless Leadership is a six-session practical leadership development programme designed to help leaders understand themselves, develop their thinking and build the skills to lead people well.

It starts with understanding yourself as a leader, then builds from there. Each session has a new focus to explore and apply, with time between sessions to see what happens when you put it into practice.

The programme is usually spread over around six months, giving leaders the space to try things out, reflect on what happens and bring their experience back into the next session.

The aim isn't to teach leaders how to lead in a ‘one size fits all’ way. It's about self awareness that allows models and practical tools to be adapted to create a personalised approach that works for the leader, their people and the situations they find themselves in.

Adapting Your Leadership

How to adapt your leadership to the people and situations around you.

And sometimes, you need a little more space.

Optional 1:1 time is available alongside the programme when an individual leader wants to explore a particular challenge, conversation or situation in more depth.

“I gained a great deal both personally and professionally from the Limitless Leadership programme. Yvi’s approach, particularly her ability to challenge long-held assumptions in a constructive, non-defensive way, made a significant difference to how I engaged with the learning. The programme helped me tackle some longstanding barriers that had held me back throughout my working life. Completing the programme over seven months worked extremely well. The spacing allowed time to apply techniques in practice, reflect, and bring insights back to the next session. Midway through, I wasn’t sure how everything would connect, but by the end the progression and impact were clear. For teams that are committed to making changes, the outcomes are genuinely tangible.”

then what?

These leadership journeys lead to all sorts of things.

One organisation I work with decided to bring their middle managers into Dynamic Discovery. Sometimes leaders choose to continue their own development through coaching or mentoring. I also return to work with the wider team on team effectiveness or other Infinite Possibilities.

None of what follows after the programme is planned at the beginning. It evolves over a longer period of time, because each piece of work comes from something the previous work has uncovered, or from someone recognising that there is another conversation worth having.

That is how I like working. We start with what is useful now, see what emerges, and decide what makes sense next, often over a number of years.
