3 questions to ask before you tackle a weakness
TRY THIS...
We all have weaknesses. I am rubbish on the monkey bars. Always have been, and I’m NOT working on it.
Why?
Because not all weaknesses are created equal.
You can spend years stewing on a weakness, when it’s just a strength running wild or something that makes sod all difference to your life anyway.
So before you address a weakness, ask yourself these 3 questions
What are the true consequences of this ‘alleged’ weakness? (Not just imagined, projected or assumed)
How much of this is someone’s opinion or judgement (including your own)? (Eject the fraudulent weaknesses immediately!!!)
Is this about you or contextual? (If the fish is dying, is it a weak fish or bad fish keeping? yes, you’re the fish in this scenario)
Many of my clients come to me with weaknesses that are not what they think they are… are you sure about yours?
SOMETHING TO PONDER...
New Year - old quote
“…if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” (attributed to Einstein allegedly)
Yes, it’s that fish again… still referring to you…
SOMETHING FOR LATER...
Left empty for you to fill with what you’re going to do about what you just uncovered
If you want help with that… press the big blue button…
